Asian Sesame Chicken
If you have ever had this in a restaurant it is seriously delicious. The flavours that go into this dish are just amazing. Sesame works so well with the chicken. This dish has an array of flavours, sweet, savoury and spicy all at once. Try it for yourself!

Ingredients for the Sauce:
4 Chicken Breasts- Diced in Large Chunks
2tbsp Olive Oil
1tbsp Sesame Oil
5 Spring Onions- Finely Chopped
4 Cloves Garlic- Crushed
1tsp Ginger- Pureed
1-2tbsp Sesame Seeds
2tbsp Soy Sauce
½ tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
1tsp Red Chilli Flakes
1tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Muscovado Sugar
1 ½ -2 Cups Water
1tbsp Corn Flour to Thicken the Sauce

Method
Take a wide wok, heat the oil and add the spring onions, garlic and ginger. Let the onions cook on a high flame for a minute then add all the other ingredients apart from the chicken and sesame seeds. Let the sauce thicken before turning off the heat.

Marinade the Chicken for 1 hour with:
2tbsp Oyster Sauce
1tbsp Soy Sauce
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
1tbsp Brown Sauce

Batter Ingredients:
½ Cup Plain Flour
3tbsp Corn Flour
1 Egg
Salt to taste
Water

Method
Â
Mix all the batter ingredients to get a smooth consistency. Do not make it too runny. It should be thick enough to coat the chicken pieces. Take the pieces of chicken and dip into the batter. Deep fry in batches until the chicken is cooked through. Once all the chicken is fried, add the chicken pieces to the sauce and sprinkle the sesame seeds.
Serve hot with rice. Delicious!
